What You Need To Know

Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept most major insurance plans including: BCBS, ALLKIDS, American Behavioral, New Directions, and Viva Health. Medicaid may be billed for those under the age of 18.
How long does each therapy session take?
Counseling sessions are from 45-50 minutes.
What approaches to therapy do we use?
We utilize an integrative approach to therapy. Our counselors use various therapeutic approaches based on the individual needs of the client, such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems, Play Therapy, Trust Based Relational Intervention, and Trauma-Focused CBT.
Is counseling confidential?
Yes. Information is not disclosed without prior written permission from the client.
However, there are a few exceptions required by law to this rule. Exceptions include:
Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse. The counselor is required to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person. The counselor is required to notify the police.
If a client intends to harm himself or herself. The counselor will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may need to be taken.
